Barbara Paulsen: "I can't imagine how new teachers are considered to be prepared to teach, when they have received little or no actual teaching time during training. I have my students involved in the teaching process early and often throughout the program."

200 Hour Teacher Training starts Spring 2023
300 Hour Advanced Studies Program starts January 15, 2023
Barbara has created, copyrighted and packaged her intensive curriculum and integrated approach to yoga teacher training, providing a strong foundation in all of the eight limbs of yoga. Her caring way and ability to give individually to her students is a sought after gift. Her technique will grow your understanding, teaching abilities and spiritual depth from the very first class.
Certified by the Center for Yoga and the Samata Yoga Center in Los Angeles, California, she has an eclectic background in Hatha Yoga. She is further inspired by the teachings of T.K.V. Desikarachar through her training with Larry Payne, PhD. Barbara has an impressive understanding of human anatomy which she applies in both teaching and in practice. Since 2008, Barbara has and continues to offer her unique training options which are certified through Yoga Alliance. Upon completion of our Teacher Training program, you will be qualified to register as a yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, "... the national education and support organization for yoga in the United States."
This program is designed for students with a consistent yoga practice. All students of yoga are encouraged to apply, regardless of physical limitations. An advanced asana practice is not a requirement of this program, simply the desire to learn and full commitment to the program!

If you have already completed a 200 hour Yoga training ...
our 300 hour program is your next step to advancing your practice and your teachings. With a strong focus on Yoga Therapeutics, Self-study (svadhaya) and Loving Kindness (metta), our 300 hour program builds on the foundational knowledge of your 200 hour training, providing a clear path to the enhanced understanding, knowledge and the skills necessary to elevate your teaching and further enrich your students. We offer a smaller, intimate setting, with each student receiving generous amounts of attention from their teacher.
Students in this program will explore the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of being human through the advance practices of meditation, mudra, mantra, pranayama, asana and relaxation, awakening your intuition and gaining confidence working one-on-one with your students.
Applicants must be YA 200RYT, 200 E-RYT or 500RYT. There is a required 40-hour service project or the transfer of 50 hours from a single approved Yoga program – all 50 hours must be from the same program.
This course meets Yoga Alliance CEU requirements for existing Yoga teachers.
